WELCOME to the website for the Louisiana Association of Clinical Social Workers with a growing membership from Shreveport to New Orleans and points in between.

The goal of this website is to make information about the purpose and activities of this organization more accessible to clinical social workers, social work students and the general public throughout Louisiana. This site includes information on subjects of concern to clinical social workers in administrative or clinical roles in the health care industry in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors as well as private practice. It also provides information for the general public on professional services provided by the membership in areas across the state and on mental health topics.

MISSION

The Louisiana Association of Clinical Social Workers (LACSW) is a voluntary association of clinical social workers whose mission is “ to define, represent, promote, and protect clinical social work as a knowledge-based, client-centered profession which provides quality mental health services to the general public.”
