WELCOME TO THE LOUISIANA ASSOCIATION OF CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKERS WEBSITE.  LOUISIANA'S VOICE OF CLINICAL SOCIAL WORK.  WE HAVE MEMBERS REPRESENTED FROM ALL NINE REGIONS IN OUR STATE IN THE FIELD OF CLINICAL SOCIAL WORK. OUR SITE IS GEARED TO ALL MATTERS PERTAINING TO CLINICAL SOCIAL WORK SPECIFICALLY.  PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PROVIDE FEEDBACK OR INFORMATION RELATED TO OUR MISSION.

Attention: The Commission on Dietetic Registration is looking for Licensed Clinical Social Workers as volunteers.  

CDR is soliciting the services of subject matter experts (SMEs) in the specialist area of obesity and weight management to assist in the examination development process.  Participation in the development meetings requires that volunteers meet the minimum eligibility requirements for the certification as stated below:

·       Current, valid certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

·       Maintenance of above credential for a minimum of two years.

·       Currently practicing (with a minimum of 2,000 hours) in the obesity and weight management specialty area.
